Commercial Real Estate
Purpose in
every deal.
Erica Peters is a commercial real estate advisor with The Coleture Real Estate Brokerage, specializing in land, multifamily, and retail.
She combines careful preparation with persistent follow through, remaining closely engaged throughout the transaction. Her approach is collaborative and attentive, with an emphasis on keeping clients informed, maintaining momentum, and managing the details that influence a commercial real estate decision.
Experience
Erica’s professional background spans sports medicine, nutritional health coaching, environmental sustainability, community development, and project management. In addition to her commercial real estate practice, Erica serves as Community Development & Impact Lead at Global Green, where her work centers on sustainability, resilience, and stronger communities. Her experience has included initiatives related to food access, health disparities, and environmental sustainability.
She also serves as Land & Garden Consultant with Peace by Piece NOLA, where her work includes community land trust management, land acquisition strategy, farmer pipeline training, garden education, and produce sales. The role gives her direct experience with the operational, educational, and economic dimensions of putting land into productive use.
In 2026, Erica completed the Urban Land Institute Real Estate Diversity Initiative, where she worked as part of a multidisciplinary development team whose commercial development proposal was selected as best in class.
Together, these experiences give Erica a distinctive perspective on the built environment and the relationship between property, operations, environmental conditions, and community context. She brings that perspective to the properties she evaluates and the clients she represents.
Land Stewardship
Erica sees land as an active asset with possibilities that extend well beyond its current condition. Her interest lies in understanding how a site can be used, cultivated, developed, or repositioned and what physical, regulatory, environmental, and community factors may shape those possibilities.
Her connection to land is also personal. An avid gardener and educator, Erica grows seasonal vegetables and herbs and enjoys helping others understand how land and everyday resources can be used more intentionally.
Representative Work
Creating Room for a Local Business to Grow.
A new Uptown location for a growing New Orleans organization.
Erica recently represented a homegrown organization in securing an Uptown New Orleans office location as it prepared for its next stage of growth.
Erica worked to understand the organization’s operational needs and helped guide the transaction toward a space that could support its expanding local presence and provide a professional home for the work ahead.
The assignment reflects the value she places on helping local organizations secure real estate that supports where they are going next.
Perspective
“I believe good representation starts with listening, preparation, and follow through. Clients should know that their goals matter, the details matter, and their advisor is committed to seeing the work through.”

Building Through Real Estate
Ownership, opportunity, and sustainable growth.
Erica is drawn to commercial real estate because ownership can create income, build assets, and open pathways to generational wealth. She is particularly interested in helping more people understand commercial property as an investment and giving clients the information they need to pursue ownership with greater confidence.
Her long term vision is to build a practice that serves investors, businesses, and communities while expanding who sees commercial real estate ownership as attainable.
Born in California and rooted in her New Orleans lineage, Erica values both growth and local identity. Her background in sustainability and community development reinforces her belief that investment can create new opportunity while remaining thoughtful about the places in which it occurs.
Beyond Real Estate
A life shaped by creativity, wellness, and connection.
Erica is a mother of two and a creative spirit who enjoys working out, art, traveling, cooking, holistic beauty, festivals, gardening, and meaningful time with family and friends.
